Here we can see what the area around the window looked like before the project began.
The damaged wood has been removed so that the new project can have a strong foundation.
Our craftsmen have begun to nail down the new wooden boards which will act as the foundation for the new project.
Our craftsmen have laid begun to install the copper paneling around the window, soldering them together as shown by the silver seams. This ties each section of copper together and makes the project watertight.
One of the final steps is making sure that the new project is properly tied into the shingles around the dormer. Part of this process in installing Grace Ice & Water Shield to make the entire area water tight. You can see the finished product of this job in our Before & After section.
The copper truly does look amazing! It offers great protection and adds curb appeal!
